2024 Boys Track and Field Practice and Meet/Invitational Schedule
Before the season begins, you need to register for Boys Track and Field online with the PSHS Athletic Dept. and have an updated sports physical in the PSHS Athletic Dept.
***All Track and Field Practices and Meets are mandatory. This includes being present at the practice or meet for the entire time. Please know our Team Attendance Policy.
MAKING A COMMITMENT TO THIS SCHEDULE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE GROWTH OF OUR PROGRAM AND SUCCESS OF YOUR TEAM IN THIS 2024 TRACK AND FIELD SEASON!! 100% PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS OUR EXPECTATION AND THE STANDARD! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND TIMES, PREPARE AND PLAN AHEAD TO BE A CHAMPION.
Your 2024 Championship Season begins on January 22nd and will conclude on May 25th.

Tuesday, January 23, 2024 - Practice and School canceled due to Ice Storm.
Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Thursday, January 25, 2024 - Morning Run at 5:45am. Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. *Morning Runs throughout the season are not mandatory practices.*

Thursday, February 1, 2024 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm. Field Event Practice: 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Your Coaches will let you know which session to attend. Do not attend both practice sessions on these split days.
Friday, February 2, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Team Practice 7:30am to 9:30am at the PSHS Fieldhouse. UNIFORM HANDOUT for Seniors and Juniors at 10:00AM.
Monday, February 5, 2024 - Team Practice 5:00am to 6:30am at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Doors will open at 4:45am. The Fieldhouse is not available after school today.
Tuesday, February 6, 2024 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm. Field Event Practice 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Thursday, February 8, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. UNIFORM HANDOUT for Sophomores and Freshmen at 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
Friday, February 9, 2024 - Home vs. Neuqua Valley and Minooka. We will set up right after school at 2:30pm. Meet begins at 5:00pm.
Saturday, February 10, 2024 - No Practice.
Monday, February 12, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Tuesday, February 13, 2024 - Morning Run 5:45am. Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Distance will travel to McKinley Woods on 2 Cougar Buses. The 2 Cougar Buses will return to PSHS by 5:00pm.
Wednesday, February 14, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Pole Vault Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm. Field Event Practice 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.
Friday, February 16, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 6:00pm. We will set up for tomorrow's home invitational at 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
Saturday, February 17, 2024 - PSHS Indoor Varsity and Frosh/Soph Invitational. Arrive at 7:30am. South vs. Naperville North, Waubonsie Valley, Deerfield, Normal West, Plainfield East and Benet Academy.
Monday, February 19, 2024 - No School. No Practice.
Tuesday, February 20, 2024 - Morning Run 5:45am. Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm. Field Event Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Tuesday, March 19, 2024 - The 3rd Annual Plainfield South Freshmen Indoor Invitational. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors please help set up the Fieldhouse at 2:30pm - we will also practice. The Invite begins at 5:00pm. Seniors will help work the meet. SIP Day, no classes.
Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - TEAM PICTURES AT 2:30PM. Bring your entire uniform. Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Spring Break is March 23rd to March 30th. We will have optional workouts with your event coach over Spring Break. These workouts will be posted on your Google Classroom before Spring Break begins.
