Individual and Team Results

ELGIN, Ill. - The Olivet Nazarene University men's cross country team finished in second place at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships on Saturday, Nov. 6, at Spartan Meadows Golf Course in Elgin, Ill.

The defending champion Tigers competed against nine teams in the eight-kilometer race and had three runners finish in the top 10 out of 109 competitors.

The Tigers were led by senior Kenny MacDonough (Novi, Mich.) , who finished third in 25 minutes and 37.51 seconds. Sophomore Kasey Ferrigan (Dixon, Ill.) finished in 25:44.85 in sixth place. Freshman Mitchell Dale (Rochester Hills, Mich.) finished in 25:7.52 and eighth place. Junior Justin Jones (Oakwood, Ill.) finished in 26:10.20 and 15th place. Sophomore Zach Bozman (LeClaire, Iowa) finished in 26:27.14 and 19th place. Freshman James Fisher (Wales, Mich.) finished in 26:27.67 and 20th place. Junior Nicholas Mizeur (Moline, Ill.) finished in 26:40.49 and 25th place.

The University of St. Francis (Ill.) finished first overall. St. Xavier University (Ill.) took third, the Illinois Institute of Technolgy claimed fourth and Robert Morris University (Ill.) finished fifth.

The Tigers will be finish their season by being represented by two individuals, MacDonough and Ferrigan, at the NAIA National Championships, held on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Fort Vancouver Historical Site in Vancouver, Wash.
